'The Gospel': gratifying
Josh and I saw a screening of The Gospel last night. Reasonably entertaining movie.

In short: A successful R&B singer who years ago rejected God returns home when his father, a bishop, falls ill.

Director Rob Hardy did a fine job. I had reservations about Nona Gaye, but it turned out amusing.
The mood of 'The Gospel' is rather special. Worth seeing, anyway.

Duncan, Cabrera and Gomes are suspended for three games
I just read this FOXSports.com page, a bit long but an interesting read nevertheless.

Holy shit
Super-duper!
Long lost unreleased Ed Wood film "Necromania" found in warehouse hidden in a box of old cashmere sweaters.

Still fear, worry and affliction
I'm sometimes low but it is hard to go back. Hell, my concern is not very weighty.

Kala
I just downloaded 'Kala' from iTunes.
I did appreciate M.I.A. but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
The scope of music on Kala is quite broad.

Strange stuff on Nashua Telegraph
I just received this weird link from Jenblossom. Bomb squad asplodes suspicious package with water cannon. In other news, if you've lost a wrapped package containing raw chicken parts, the Nashua Police Hazardous Device Unit can point you to the splash area.

At the movies
Last saturday I went to the movies and saw Two for the Money. Reasonably gratifying movie.

After suffering a career-ending injury, a former college football star (McConaughey) aligns himself with one of the most renown bookies (Pacino) in the sports-gambling business.

The direction (by D.J. Caruso) was just fine and the casting and the plot are pretty okay as well.
This film never got up enough steam to really engage me.

What do you think? Please feel free to drop a comment or two.

Scary
I just received this shocking link from Hello Merry. Only 30 percent of singles practice safe sex.

Haven't blogged lately : I 've been occupied all week. If you find something that I missed, just leave it in the comments but I don't give up.

I'm so sorry, but I hope you can understand that other work does take priority

Cross
I just down- *ahem* bought 'Cross', Justice's new disc. If you are into electronica this album is something for you.
Somehow Justice never touched me.
Now it always catches me. It has a lot of surpises.

Marzano
Yesterday Hello Merry and I went to Italian restaurant Marzano for dinner.

We had a hard time deciding on the menu, because everything looked really sumptous, but finally decided to go with the penne ai frutti di mare.
The food was excellent. I highly recommend the pizza margarita.

Dinner
Claude's Café is a fine restaurant . We went there Wednesday for dinner. I had been there once before.
The service was so-so. If you ever make it there, their salt cod gratin with olives is to die for.

Live At Radio City
Now spinning in my CD player is 'Live At Radio City', Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds's new disc.
I'll have to investigate Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds further.
This album really grows on you.
